Eric Raanan Fischman is an MFA candidate at Naropa University’s Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics, where he cofounded Semicolon, a student-run small press whose mission is to make available the means and techniques of self-publishing to the student body at large. He was a co-winner at Hunter College in the Academy of American Poets College Prize in 2007 and has been a featured reader at A Night of Iambs and the Telephone Bar Reading Series in New York City, as well as at Bouldering Poets in Boulder, Colorado. His work has appeared in such journals as Twenty3 Magazine, Shampoo, The Hiss Quarterly, Margin, and What’s Up Magazine, a Boston area nonprofit benefiting the homeless. His first chapbook Dripping from the Clouds like Honey is forthcoming.
